Parallels just released the Beta2 for their Workstation product. A virtualization software that would allow you to run a OS in a virtual box in parallel with your running OS. As such it went out public and has competitive advantage over both VMWare and Microsoft that both produce similar offerings but none for the Intel Macs. Workstation is not a direct competitor to Boot Camp. Sometimes running a virtual OS works just fine, but sometimes you need to squeeze the most of your hardware so I belive Boot Camp might still be an excellent solution. On a related note I’ve been running a developer build of colinux as a windows service and I must confess it’s muck faster than the last official release. Plus I’ve been on the colinux irc channel, and they are working on stuff to improve performance even more. What I like about colinux is that a part from running from an image, it can also run from a working linux partition.

Finally, ECF also provides fully functional example applications using these APIs…such as XMPP Instant Messaging/chat, file and URL-sharing, a simple shared whiteboard, and real-time collaborative editing.” The people that choose the Eclipse Rich Client Platform might find this addition as a really nice feature. I wich the Azureus people would contribute code to it (and vice versa) :). This reminds me of the time the sigmalab team worked on our own Communication Framework and I would like to see the architecture that’s behind this project.
Mi sono permesso di fare un design basato sui commenti fatti dal primo ministro che ha dato al elettore di sinistra del "coglione". Visto che al primo ministro bisogna dargli del Lei (una convenzione inventata nell epoca quando la gente comune era rozza e i primi ministri erano rafinati), vorrei affermare che se lui pretende che la gente lo rispetti bisogna che sia sportivo e non insulti noi communi cittadini mortali (alcuni di quali hanno il potere di voto che può essere una arma letale per i politici). Nel frattempo chiunque si sente un coglione e vuole soffermare questa appartenenza, vi invito a votare a sinistra. Cioè, se si vota a destra ci becchiamo di nuovo Berlusconi e sinceramente non mi sentireì sicuro un’altra legislatura con questa persona. Intediamoci mi ritengo una persona centrista che ogni tanto oscilla tra la destra e la sinistra ma a questo punto è personale. Se qualcuno è interessato può trovare gli accessori qui (dopo un pò metterò qualcos’altro perciò se li volete comprate adesso, mi dispiace per i prezzi ma già di base sono quelli+0.5$). Vorrei usare una espressione tanto comune al elettore di destra: Fuori dai coglioni! Non è un insulto, è una metafora, e poi l’ho detto quando non ero capace di intendere e di volere perciò non conta.
